Tenuta Donna Olimpia 1898 is a 60 hectares property in Bolgheri, with 45 hectares of new vineyards, planted as a result of the research on clones and rootstocks undertaken in collaboration with Prof. Scienza of the University of Milan. The density of the vineyards is around 7,000 vines per hectare. The training system is the single spur cordon. The vines planted are obviously those widely proved to excel in this region: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot. For white wines, Vermentino, Viognier and Petit Manseng.
